Draft East Sands Urban Design Framework April 2010
What is this consultation event all about?
This consultation event is seeking comments on an important piece of design guidance for the East Sands/ Harbour Improvement Area of St Andrews. This area is identified as Proposal STA 09 in the Finalised St Andrews and East Fife Local Plan 2009, which calls for an Urban Design Framework to be prepared to address the future pattern of building, movement and spaces. The Draft East Sands Urban Design Framework sets out a vision for this area together with a strategy for delivery that provides guiding principles, which any future proposals would be expected to follow.
Please note that an officer will be available to discuss the Urban Design Framework at two drop-in sessions on Monday 3rd May and Thursday 20th May, both days between 3pm and 7pm, in the foyer of St Andrews Town Hall. Outwith these specific times, an exhibition in the same location will be available to view until the end of the consultation period on 25th May, 2010.
